The Poetry of Light and Shadow

A black and white film in poetic motion. Al Dente reimagines Histoire de Style as a cinematic study of heritage, movement, and light. Stripped to monochrome, the films draw the eye toward the brilliance of the creations themselves, where every contour and reflection echoes Frédéric Boucheron’s enduring vision of high jewellery.

Featuring a model adorned in L’Addresse, The Spark, The Silhouette, and The Untamed, the series unfolds like a scene from the Maison itself. The jewels do not simply accessorize the body, they sculpt it, drape it, and move with it. Like couture, the white gold and diamonds trace the contours of the figure with precision, dissolving the boundary between self and object.
Requiring up to 2,600 hours of craftsmanship in total, the creations become the true protagonists of the films. They embody Creative Director Claire Choisne’s modern reinterpretation of Boucheron’s vocabulary as a stylistic tribute to the avant-garde spirit that has defined the Maison since its beginnings at Place Vendôme.
