For Zegna, Al Dente develops the Summer 2025 campaign for the iconic Mocassin, positioning it as a cultural object shaped by Italy, time, and everyday life. The concept reframes the shoe as more than fashion, worn across generations, where heritage is preserved and continuously created.
Moccasin time defines the idea: every Moccasin becomes truly personal only through use,
memory, and wear. The narrative unfolds in chapters tracing Mocassin's evolution. From its
roots in Italian streets and craft history, to its presence today as a shared generational code,
the shoe becomes a constant rather than a symbol of status. It is worn, passed on, and
transformed over time.
A visual system extends the concept into language and form. From line to written Mocassin,
from 232 Road to brand mark and logo, the campaign builds a continuous dialogue between
object and identity. Editorial compositions inspired by Bruno Munari introduce a graphic
approach to styling, where white space, structure, and clarity frame the Mocassin as both
product and idea.

Macro studies, typewriter text, match cuts, and zoomed typography reveal the Mocassin through construction and language. Referencing Ermenegildo Zegna’s founding vision, the narrative positions the Mocassin as both heritage and renewal, an icon born in the streets of Italy and carried from past into the future.
