Originally launched in 1972, Audemars Piguet’s iconic Royal Oak was the first of its kind: not only the first luxury sports watch on the market, but also the first to employ steel as a precious metal.
It’s this combination of strength and finesse that makes Royal Oak’s luxury approach to watchmaking possible. The lookbook aims at capturing this special approach to movement: the steel watch at the center of a bloom of possibilities, movement spiralling out in a multitude of directions, in a multitude of forms.
